These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Klip mobile application and related services (“Klip” or the “Service”), provided by Klip Entertainment Private Limited (“Klip,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) if you live in India.

1) Acceptance of Terms
By registering, accessing, or using Klip, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our [Privacy Policy] (together, the “Agreement”). If you do not agree, do not use Klip.
2) Eligibility
- You must provide accurate, current registration details and keep them updated. We shall require proof of majority age, or parental consent.
- We shall prominently display the classification rating at the beginning of every programme enabling you make an informed decision prior to watching the programme.
- The classification rating may be U, U/A 7+, U/A 13+, U/A 16+, or A.
- The basis of classification shall be:
(i) Themes and messages;
(ii) Violence;
(iii) Nudity;
(iv) Sex;
(v) Language;
(vi) Drug and substance abuse; and
(vii) Horror. - Content that is classified as U/A 13+ or higher shall have access control mechanisms, including parental locks. It is your responsibility to use the parental locks to restrict access for your children, and you are solely responsible to ensure the same.
- For content that is classified as “A” we have implemented a reliable age verification mechanism that controls access. Content which has an “A” rating shall be restricted for children.
3) User Account and Security
- Keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- You are not allowed to share your login credentials with 3rd parties.
- You may access the Service using your login credentials on a limited number of specific devices as permitted by Klip. You may update the specific devices from time to time using available recourse on the Service. For accessing the Service on more than/other than the devices permitted by Klip, you may need to migrate to a higher tier plan, or take additional login credentials as appropriate.
- Notify us immediately at info@klip.digital of any unauthorized use or security incident.
- We may require multi-factor-authorisation, device verification, or suspend access to protect you and the Service.
4) Content Usage (Permissions and Restrictions)
- Klip grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable permission to access and stream micro-dramas and related content on the Service (“Content”) for personal, non-commercial use through the Service only.
- Unless expressly permitted in-app, you must not record, download, copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly perform, display, sell, sublicense, scrape, or create derivative works from the Content; circumvent DRM or any technical protections; or use screen-recording.
- YOU MAY NOT IN MANNER USE ANY OF OUR CONTENT AS TRAINING DATA TO TRAIN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE MODELS OF ANY KIND. ANY USE OF OUR CONTENT AS TRAINING DATA WILL RESULT IN YOUR LIABILITY TO TAKE A TRAINING DATA LICENSE AT A BLANKET FEE FIXED BY KLIP AT ITS SOLE DISCRETION WITHOUT ANY DEMUR OR PROTEST BY YOU.
- Misuse may result in account suspension/termination and legal action.
5) Subscriptions, Free Trials and Payments
- Access is via subscription. Fees are charged in advance per your selected plan (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual and/or no. of devices as displayed).
- Purchases made via Apple App Store or Google Play are billed by those platforms; their payment terms and refund policies apply in addition to these Terms.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current term ends. You can cancel anytime in your Apple/Google subscription settings or in-app where available.
- Changes to price/plans: We may change prices or plans prospectively. We’ll notify you in-app/email where required. Continued use after changes takes effect constitutes acceptance.
- Refunds: Except where required by law or by the app store’s policy, fees are non-refundable and non-transferable once access begins.
- Indirect taxes may apply on payments.
6) Ads, Sponsorships and Brand Integrations
- Klip may display hyperlocal/targeted ads, sponsored segments, product placements, overlays, and other in-content branding.
- We aim to label sponsored content clearly (e.g., “Sponsored,” “Paid Partnership”).
- Ad delivery/measurement may use device identifiers and third-party SDKs/APIs as explained in our Privacy Policy, and your device/OS ad preferences may reduce personalization. You are responsible for accessing the terms and conditions and privacy policies of such third-party technology providers. We shall strive to provide you as much direction as possible under our Privacy Policy.
- Ads may link to third-party sites or offers; we are not responsible for those sites, products, or claims.
7) Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, interfere with, or damage the Service or related networks; deploy bots, scrapers, or malware; bypass geo-blocking or access controls.
- Upload/share pirated, illegal, harmful, infringing, or defamatory material; or anything that violates rights of others.
- Use Klip for any unlawful purpose, harassment, or to collect others’ data without consent.
- YOU MAY NOT IN MANNER USE ANY OF OUR CONTENT AS TRAINING DATA TO TRAIN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE MODELS OF ANY KIND. ANY USE OF OUR CONTENT AS TRAINING DATA WILL RESULT IN YOUR LIABILITY TO TAKE A TRAINING DATA LICENSE AT A BLANKET FEE FIXED BY KLIP AT ITS SOLE DISCRETION WITHOUT ANY DEMUR OR PROTEST BY YOU.
8) Intellectual Property
- The Service, including the Content, code, design, interfaces, trademarks, and logos are owned by Klip Entertainment Private Limited or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
- No rights are granted except as expressly stated. Any unauthorized use is prohibited.
- KLIP ENTERTAINMENT PRIVATE LIMITED ASSERTS ITS SOLE RIGHTS TO USE THE CONTENT AS TRAINING DATA TO TRAIN ANY GENERATIVE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE MODELS OF ANY KIND. YOU MAY APPROACH US FOR TRAINING DATA LICENSE AT A FEE OF OUR CHOOSING IF YOU SO WISH.
9) User Submissions and Feedback
If you submit comments, ratings, or suggestions (“Feedback”), you grant Klip a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use and incorporate Feedback without obligation to you. Do not submit confidential information, or trade secrets. Any such submission may be used by us without any restrictions, or obligations to you.
10) Termination and Suspension
- We may suspend or terminate your access (with or without notice) if you violate the Agreement, create risk, or where required by law.
- You may delete your account at any time via Settings or by contacting tech@klip.digital.
- Upon termination, your permission of access ends and you must cease use; sections which by nature survive (e.g., intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) continue to apply.
11) Governing Law and Jurisdiction (India)
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.
12) Disclaimers
- The Service and Content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, availability of particular Content, or compatibility with your device/network.
- We may modify, remove, or replace features or Content at any time.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties (express or implied), including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
13) Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Klip and its affiliates, directors, employees, and licensors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; lost profits; data loss; or business interruption arising from or related to your use of the Service.
- Our aggregate liability for all claims in any 12-month period will not exceed the amounts you paid to Klip for the Service in a quarter of that period.
- In the event the applicable law does not recognise these limitations, the above limits apply to the fullest extent permitted.
14) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Klip from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of the Agreement or misuse of the Service.
15) Third-Party Services and Links
Klip may integrate third-party services (e.g., payment processors, analytics, adtech partners). Your use of those services may be subject to their terms of use and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or services.
You are responsible for accessing the terms and conditions and privacy policies of such third-party technology providers. We shall strive to provide you as much direction as possible under our Privacy Policy.
16) Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email (where we have your email id). Your continued use after changes take effect, constitutes acceptance. The “Last updated” date indicates the latest revision.
17) Notices and Customer Support
We may send you service or transactional communications via in-app notices, email, or push notifications. You can reach us at info@klip.digital for account or billing support and for legal queries.
We shall revert on account or billing support queries within 48 hours.
We shall revert on legal queries within a reasonable period of time, and on a best effort basis.
18) Complaints and Intellectual Property Notices (including Takedown Notices)
If you believe that the Content infringes your rights, email info@klip.digital with:
(a) your contact details,
(b) a description of the work and allegedly infringing material,
(c) URL/screenshot of the infringing material, and link to your work, along with proof-of-your-ownership,
(d) a statement of good-faith belief,
(e) an affidavit that the notice is accurate, and
(f) your signature.
We may share your notice with the uploader/licensor as required.
19) Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including technology outages, natural disasters, acts of war, government action, or labor disputes.
20) Entire Agreement & Miscellaneous
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any plan-specific terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Klip. If any provision is found invalid, the remainder remains in effect. We may assign our rights/obligations; you may not assign without our consent.
21) Refunds
Digital subscriptions are generally non-refundable once access begins, except where mandated by Indian consumer law or applicable app store policies.
